Find answers to all your Return and Exchange questions.
We accept returns and exchanges for eligible items within 15 days of delivery. To initiate a return or exchange, please email us at info@cavecanempet.com with your order number. Our customer care team will provide return instructions and a prepaid shipping label. Please ensure that items are carefully packed in their original packaging, and include the original receipt or gift receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once the returned item arrives at our warehouse.
Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:
- Discount items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for size.
- Monogrammed or personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Gift cards are non-refundable.
- Delivery fees are non-refundable.
- International orders.
- Returned items must have tags, be in their original packaging, and show no visible signs of wear or use.
- Certain items, due to hygiene considerations and the risk of cross-infection between pets, are not eligible for return or exchange. These items are noted in the Shipping & Return Policy section on the product page.
- Depending on the reason for return, you may be responsible for return shipping costs.
We cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages once the courier has confirmed delivery to the destination.
For returns and exchanges, Cave Canem will cover return shipping costs if the item is damaged, faulty, or does not match the listing description. For exchanges due to sizing issues or returns due to a change of mind, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost, which will be deducted from the refund or charged separately for the exchange.
Please email us as soon as possible at info@cavecanempet.com with your order number and a picture of received item(s). Our team will provide instructions to resolve the issue promptly, offering either a replacement or a refund as needed.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@cavecanempet.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We handle these cases individually and will do our best to provide a satisfactory solution, whether through replacement or refund.

- Discounted/Final sale items
- Items with visible signs of wear or use
- Knitwear products: Due to hygiene and quality control reasons, pet knitwear products are not eligible for returns or exchanges. These items are highly susceptible to collecting pet hair and fur, which can be difficult to remove and may impact the quality and resaleability of the product. We recommend carefully checking sizing and product details before purchasing to ensure the best fit for your pet.
Unfortunately, we cannot apply a promo code after an order has been placed.
Bundles can only be fully refunded if all items making up the bundle are returned. If one or more products within the bundle are not returned, we will deduct the value of each individual product that is not returned at its full price from your refund.
If your bundle includes an item that is not eligible for return, such as pet knitwear, you may return the eligible items for a partial refund. The non-returnable item will be charged at its full price.
We will do our best to refund the money to your original payment method as fast as possible. Normally the money will be available in your bank account within one week after we have received your returned item. If this is not the case, please get in touch with our customer care team with your order number.
The exchange and return policy are up to the individual retailer. We do not handle returns of products purchased from one of our retailers.
